Nekhbet goddess necklace
The Vulture Goddess, Nekhbet was a personal protector of the pharaoh and she who bestowed the white crown to the pharaoh, she became the symbol of rulership in ancient Egypt. She looked after mothers and children through out the whole land. Nekhbet is often shown with her wings outstretched in protection, hovering over the Pharaoh and holding in her claws the hieroglyphic symbol the "Shem", which means "to encircle" and "infinity."

The central piece is a Djed amulet the fruits of  the- holy Ished tree -.
The holy ished tree was the Tree of Life, especially the ished tree at Heliopolis.Thoth wrote the king's name and the length of his reign on its leaves and fruits, protecting the ruler and perpetuating his name.
Atum says: "I write your name on the holy ished tree with my own hand. I have proclaimed you king on my throne."
